MileShark Privacy Notice
This page describes the current public privacy posture for MileShark based on the product features presently implemented and the business details currently available.
Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email address, and login credentials.
- Driver profile details and settings you enter in the app.
- Trip, mileage, earnings, expense, and record-keeping information you create or upload.
- Messages you send to support by email.
Location and device data
- MileShark may process foreground or background location data when you enable mileage tracking features that depend on location.
- The app may use notification and foreground-service capabilities to keep active tracking sessions visible and functional while you drive.
- Basic technical logs or service data may be processed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How the information is used
- To provide account access and core app functionality.
- To store and present your mileage, trip, earnings, and expense records.
- To support sync, troubleshooting, customer support, and service reliability.
Account controls
MileShark currently provides an in-app account deletion path. When that flow is used successfully, the app signs the user out and deactivates the account according to the current backend implementation.
Current limitations
- No public HTTPS migration is claimed on this page beyond what is actually live at the time of access.
- No password-reset delivery workflow is claimed on this page because that infrastructure is not yet published as complete.
